Words from Afterdark

Dimecres passat va ser el primer sopar dels joves del casal català de Zürich des de que sóc aquí i tinc prou temps lliure per ocupar-me d’aquestes coses. I és clar, vaig anar-hi. Una gent molt maca. Una gran majoria havien vingut a Suïssa seguint el nòvio o la nòvia. Sóc raro per tenir una altra història? El temps i l’hivern dirà si la feina és una bona raó per venir aquí. De moment s’anuncia un espectacle de castellers a a Bürkliplatz el setembre –ja penjaré la notícia quan en tingui els detalls– i un nou local del casal al costat del llac. Potser la propera trobada no serà un sopar sinó una banyada? Hi seguiré en contacte.

My new flat is little by little becoming a real flat, with a bed, dining table, dishes, towels, … And people. After a record Ikea furniture mounting spree –the bed absolutely had to be ready for that night’s sleep!–, this weekend I have received my first guest, Vera.
