Cylindrical eggs!
What kind of egg would robotic chicken lay? During lunch break today we decided we needed an answer. Well, that’s not quite how it started. One of us mentioned egg rolls, something which could be sliced, each slice looking like a real hard-boiled egg slice. Another person confirmed he had read about it. The rest wouldn’t believe it. We explored –with Google of course– the underworld of egg manufacturing and egg produce, and here are some answers: Nutregg (with picture of egg cylinder!), a synthetic image of egg-based extrusions, a definition of “egg roll”, some websites confirming the existence of cylindrical eggs (you got an egg problem? We got Egg Solutions!). And finally, the wonderful Ovobel, which, though staying clear of linearly-enhanced avian products, offers an amazing range of egg processing equipment, reaching flows of 1.1Megg/day (egg breaking), 691kegg/day (egg hardboiling - 0.2 Gegg/year!) and 120komelette/day.
