Barcelona is good for tourists, but also as an everyday's city. While normal life is not so full of Modernist sightings, it has nonetheless a certain charm. People tend to take life much more easily than in other cities of comparable activity level. And there are trees everywhere, which comforts the eyes and --not to be ignored-- provide fresh areas in summer.
